MidnightTrader, Inc.
has created this privacy statement in order to demonstrate our firm
commitment to privacy. The following discloses our information gathering
and dissemination practices for the MidnightTrader Web site only.
Registration forms require users to give us contact information
(e.g., name and email address) and demographic information (e.g.,
zip code). The customer's contact information is only used to contact
the visitor when necessary. This information is only shared with
advertisers on an aggregate basis.
We do not sell email addresses that have been provided to us as
part of any of our paid or free services offered directly on our
web sites.
On occasion we will send a special offer or an email that is solely
an advertisement from a third party advertiser. We strictly review
proposals to advertise to our members and strictly limit the number
that we approve. By registering for one of our free emailed newsletters
you agree to receive such information and offers. In such situations
the offer will be sent from us. Again, we maintain control of our
email lists and we will not give our email list to an advertiser.
Our site uses an order form for customers to request information,
products and services. We collect contact information (e.g., email
address) and financial information (e.g., account or credit card
numbers). The customer's contact information is used to get in touch
with the visitor when necessary and to confirm credit card authorization.
Financial information that is collected is used to bill the user
for products and services.
Our site is not dependent upon cookies. You may better utilize content
areas for paid subscribers only more easily with "cookies enabled."
However, you may still access subscriber content with your browser
being "cookie disabled." However, from time to time our
advertisers require cookies. Currently BurstMedia.com is our independent
banner ad advertising agency. From time to time they may be using
cookies. Please contact BurstMedia.com for their policies.
As we continue to develop our business, we might sell or buy companies
or assets. In such transactions, customer information generally
is one of the transferred business assets. Also, in the event that
MidnightTrader, Inc., is sold or substantially all of its assets
are acquired, customer information will most likely be one of the
transferred assets.
